Family Promise: The Portlight Shelter

Our fourth quarter Practice for a Purpose freewill offering will support Family Promise of Ozaukee County (FPOZ), whose mission is to empower homeless and low income families to regain their independence and dignity through community support.

They mentor at-risk families to help them to stay in their homes. For those without a safe and stable home, they provide temporary housing and hospitality at their new shelter, the Portlight Shelter located in Port Washington. Those in shelter receive case management in an attempt to find jobs and low income housing. Meals continue to be provided by a network of churches.

Our donations will allow FPOZ to continue to offer clean, safe housing, case management and healthy meals for those most in need right in our own neighborhoods!

How to Donate

To donate online, click the DONATE button below to access the "Give Now" site.

Enter your donation amount.
In the Fund field, scroll down to select "Free Will donations."
In the Memo field, type " YOGA – FPOZ (for Family Promise of Ozaukee County).
Enter your email address and click CONTINUE.
Complete the payment details and click GIVE.
After proving you're not a Robot, you will receive a confirmation of your donation.

To donate by mail, please make your check payable to Crossroads Presbyterian Church. In the memo area, write "Yoga" and the beneficiary (for example, "FPOZ" for Family Promise of Ozaukee County).

As always 100% of all donations go directly to the beneficiary!
